When should I exercise for best results & performance?

What is the answer to this very popular question?

Research on this topic, suggests that there are two times you could consider to get better results.

#1 – Research shows that we are more limber and mobile around 4pm in the afternoon because we have been moving about and warming up for most of the day.

Therefore, we should reach maximum performance working out at this time.

This is my favourite time to workout currently as it fits in with my schedule and I seem to have my game face on…BOOM!

#2 – Another study found that those people that exercise in the morning are most likely to stick to an exercise program. 

This is interesting because sticking to a program is one of the most important aspects to getting results and it is also one of the biggest problems most of you probably have from time to time. Does this sound like you? Then maybe try mornings out and see how you go.

All of this being said, there are bucket loads of athletes who train at all and multiple times of day and….well they are athletes!

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS THIS:

 

Pick a time in the day that works for YOU.

 

Yep, the only way you will stick to your training program and get those results you are after is by getting your butt to training at the time you have YOUR mojo.

It really doesn’t matter what time of day it is. Schedule it and make it happen.
