Overcoming Your Fear

Today I want to share my story of overcoming a fear of mine while in New Zealand recently.

You see, fears are what stop us from achieving many goals. They hold us back from doing things with others and leave you feeling empty when you can’t do something.

By facing your fears and stepping up to the plate, you will get this amazing sense of achievement, but it is obviously easier said than done.

If you have a fear of starting a fitness program, this is probably a few of the reasons:

  • You think you are too unfit to get started
  • You won’t keep up with the rest of the group
  • You don’t know anyone
  • You believe you can’t CHANGE your habits

These are very common beliefs that hold many people back.

But you need to understand is YOU ARE NOT ALONE, and 95% of people in a program started where you are.

Once you get through that initial barrier of contacting a professional to help you with your health, and you go to your first couple of sessions, you will wonder what you were worried about.

And the relief and sense of achievement you will get from training and changing your ways, habits and life, is simply priceless.

Workout what is getting in your way from achieving and being the best person you can be, and get a strategy to hit it front on.
